CAORUNN SCOTTISH RASPBERRY GIN is my GOTW choice this week.
The raspberry note that unfolds when drinking this infused gin is remarkable. Already upon opening it rises inexorably to the nose.
In the tasting profile, the gin is fresh and fruity with a hint of juniper followed by lush raspberry with a subsequent hint of vanilla.
To my gin taste, a rather strong tonic water is suitable as a mixer. In my fridge, I also use Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water, or Schweppes Dry Tonic Water.
With the saxophone in the background, I make the connection between gin and music. Music with all its facets, genres, instruments and types is at least as diverse as the world of gin.
Classical, jazz, rave, pop and techno: music is unlimited. Gin, Distilled Gin, London Dry Gin, New Western Gin, Barrel Aged Gin, Navy Strength or Zero Alcohol: Gin offers a sea of possibilities to discover.
I received my Caorunn Scottish Raspberry as a gift from Scotland. For you, it means bringing it with you or travelling to the Highlands yourself – where such a good drop comes from, it must be simply incomparably beautiful!
