A gin that weaves tales of war and resistance with threads of love:
Sibling love
Love for home
Love for gin
The Brysbaert brothers poured their love into a gin that is truly unique. Both the logo and the bottle reference the history of the city of Ghent – you can even spot the city skyline on the label. It features Ghent’s iconic landmarks: the Belfry, St. Bavo’s Cathedral, and St. Nicholas’ Church.
The bottle neck is shaped like the Ghent cannon “Dulle Griet,” which played a crucial role in defending the city in the 15th century. The black-and-white design is inspired by the “Stroppendragers” – a symbol of the proud resistance of the people of Ghent against the emperor’s taxes almost 500 years ago.
Inside the bottle is a lovingly crafted distillate made from lavender, lemon peel, iris blossom, and orange peel. This results in a floral character with fine citrus notes and a fresh aroma of Granny Smith apples.
