"Moin" – that’s how people in Hamburg greet each other, any time of day. Today, we’re taking you on a journey that began 13 years ago in Spain and continues to this day.
While on vacation, Daniel and Serap discovered the tonka bean in a completely new way. In Spain, it was not only used in cooking but had already found its way into the bar scene. With an idea and plenty of professional support, the first Tonka Gin was launched in 2014.

What does it taste like?
👃 Notes of vanilla and citrus

👣 Slightly bitter, almost nutty
The family-run company has since expanded its range to include an Espresso Gin, a Hibiscus Gin, and a non-alcoholic gin alternative.

The bottle shape is a nod to the U.S. Prohibition era. Back then, square bottles were in high demand because their shape made it easier to store more bottles in less space—and to hide them, for example, under a car seat.
