LAYOVER DRY GIN – GATE A42
Above the clouds, where freedom knows no bounds and adventure calls, the idea for a very special product line was born.
It was brought to life by Christoph, who is actually a pilot. But in his family’s small distillery by Lake Constance, the dream of creating his own gin became a reality.
Layover Bottles & Spirits was born.
The bottle design features an airplane window – a view into adventure. After all, no good story ever started with a glass of water, right?
At Frankfurt Airport, gate numbers are divided into national and international sections. The numbers on the gin bottles indicate the alcohol content, and each label is handwritten by Nina, Christoph’s wife, staying true to the aviation theme.
The botanicals are sustainably sourced and handcrafted in the family distillery.
The gold-awarded Layover Dry Gin Gate A42, for example, 🫐 features juniper
🍋 citrus fruits
🌿 essential oils of thyme and rosemary
🧂grapefruit pepper,
🥭 and an exotic touch of passion fruit
– making it a highlight of the company’s fleet.
It’s fresh, with aromatic depth and a spicy kick that gives it that special extra something.
