CRAFTERS Wild Forest Gin
Another week passed… and another gin to be introduce…
Today I present you the CRAFTERs Wild Forest Gin, which we will also present our guests during the GINferno Gin Tasting on April 21st and April 22nd.
The name “Wild Forest” describes the gin very well.
At the heart of this gin is a well-balanced trio of juniper berries, spruce thorns, and pine shoots. This is joined by late summer heather flowers and a small dash of blueberry. The gentle, quiet mix creates a fine fruity, floral character. It actually tastes and smells like a fresh, wild forest.
Further botanicals are: broom heather, ginger, coriander, nutmeg, orange, orris root, juniper, lemon
My favorite recipe is to drink it as a classic Gin & Tonic with a botanical or Mediterranean Tonic and a lemon zest. If you want it a bit more fruity replace the lemon zest with fresh grapes or blueberries.
