Christian² ed.B. Gin
Gin and banana?! Yes – right! In Christian² ed.B. Gin Banana is real banana in the distillation pot with distilled and thus free of artificial flavors! The London Dry Gin – yes this is also correct – the gin is produced in the highest quality. Christian and Christian – hence Christian² are already since their student days huge fans of the banana and have thought, the banana must be in the gin – what sounds a bit strange at first fits together perfectly, because the gin gets its flavor exclusively through real bananas, the taste and color can vary slightly per batch – which for me is an absolute quality feature.
The greatest thing for me is that the gin does not taste sweet or artificial but the gin comes through beautifully and the banana is great to recognize in the nose and on the palate.
The question of which tonic goes with it was not so easy here – for one your Dry Tonic is the right but was for me a real highlight is with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water and Mistelhain’s DASTONIC Signature Tonic Water, the latter is my absolute favorite – in the ratio 1:1 or 1:2 then the gin and the banana comes out great.
