Ralf’s Gin Of The Week: Level Gin

Level Gin

Today I would like to introduce you to the LEVEL GIN from Spain. It is produced by the Teichenné family business, which is now managed by the third generation.

First I try the gin neat:
The Level Gin is a triple distilled gin and tastes very aromatic and floral with botanicals such as juniper, coriander, lemon, orange, grapefruit and orange blossom. Despite its 44% ABW this gin is mild and soft, and has a warming finish.
The juniper plays a major role as soon a you take the first sip, plus the great and fresh notes of citrus fruits.

As a perfect serve, I will serve myself this Mediterranean gin with the Mediterranean tonic from Fever-Tree and an orange zest – at a mixing ratio of approx. 4 cl. Gin and 6 cl Tonic is perfect in my opinion. This taste makes you want more and makes a great start into the weekend.

For me, the LEVEL GIN is a great, fresh and fruity gin that can be enjoyed at any time of the day or season.
