André’s Gin Of The Week – Devil’s Peak Gin

Long time passed from my last Gin of the Week… and this time it´s wonderful…

Today I present you the Devil’s Peak from unknown lands, located in the Capital Berlin. And it´s not a classic Gin & Tonic. But let´s start from the beginning.

Devil's peak Gin

Devil’s Peak Gin is a complex Coffee gin with the fresh breath of Cape Gooseberry. The coffee beans for this Gin are freshly roasted by Coffee Sergeant especially for unknown lands.

These beans are macerated with fine wheat alcohol for several weeks to create an intense but also fine coffee taste. Then the remaining botanicals such as Cape Gooseberries, blueberries, raspberries and others are added to release the aromas again over several days. The macerate is then distilled 3 times in a copper still and stored for several weeks before being bottled by hand.

I recommend enjoying the Devil’s peak as a Cocktail! It´s like an Espresso Martini.
But you change the Martini with this Devil’s Peak Gin.

1. Put all the ingredients in a shaker on ice.

2. Shake until you’re afraid that the ice will smash the shaker.

3. Strain into a frosted martini glass or a coupette.

4. Enjoy
