GINFERNO – GIN OF THE WEEK – 🌿🌲ZIRBELINO GIN🌲🌿
What we call a pine cone, Austrians call a Zirbe (stone pine). From room scents to syrups—you’ll find everything made from it, including of course: Zirben gin.
Warm, slightly sweet, with a balsamic touch and a subtle woody note.
Botanicals
🌲 💚 Stone pine (hearts and peel)
🍊 Oranges
🧂 Cubeb pepper
🌱 Coriander seeds
🫚 Angelica root
🫘 Cacao beans
The alcohol is based on a 🌾 fine wheat distillate
… and lots of ❤️!
Production
The fresh stone pine cones are processed within 24 hours of harvesting. By hand, the outer peels are separated from the pine hearts.
Both peels and hearts are then macerated for 4 weeks. The gin is triple-distilled:
The first distillation includes only the spices;
the second and third include the stone pine as well.
Finally, the gin is cuvéeed with a stone pine macerate, giving the distillate its slight tint.
Perfect Serve according to the GINferno App:
Goldberg Indian Tonic and a twist of orange zest.
Our drink recommendation:
Zirben Fizz
4cl Zirbelino Gin
2cl lemon juice
1cl maple syrup
Pour all ingredients into a long drink glass with ice, top with soda water, stir briefly, garnish with an orange twist—and enjoy!
By the way, Zirbelino is only available in a 200ml bottle—your handy little companion for any occasion 😉
